About Amélie

I decided to open my home to all the guests that want to visit Palermo and share this trip with me. Since 2008 “Amélie B&B” tries to do all of its best to make your holiday unforgettable. Its comfortable and colored rooms and the typical Italian breakfast with all the other guests in the house will make your trip funnier. And, if you want, I will share with you some part of my passion for my city, giving you all the information you need (where to eat, what to see, what to know)!

“Amélie” is situated in the pedestrian area of Via P.pe di Belmonte, where you can find the best boutiques, bars, restaurants and cinemas in the heart of the city, not far from the historical Massimo Theatre, the Politeama Theatre and also the most important streets in the city, such as Via Libertà, Viale Ruggero Settimo. How to find Us

Palermo Airport

is situated 30 Km outside Palermo city. The bus is operated by “Prestia e Comandè” and leaves from in front of the Terminal building (ground floor); the journey time is about 40 minutes to Piazza Politeama (your stop) and ticket costs 6.30€.

Taxi sharing costs 8€ and it leaves every moment it reaches the full number of passengers.

Private transfer: available from 35€. Please let me know in advance if you need me to book it for you.

From the harbour:

Once you get outside, walk straight along via Emerico Amari and then turn left in via Roma. The second street on the right is via Principe di Belmonte. You will find Amélie’s place at the number 94.

From the train station:

catch the bus n. 101 or n. 102 or n.107 until the Roma/Belmonte bus stop. Then, walk until n.94, via Principe di Belmonte (is a pedestrian street)

By car:

There are blue-lined parking spaces around Amélie B&B which cost 1€ an hour from Monday to Saturday from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. and from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Parking tickets (scheda di parcheggio) can be bought at tobacconists’, bars or shops (or from an unofficial parking “helper”). Scratch out the date and time and leave the tickets on your dashboard.
There is a private car park close to Amélie. The cost is 25 € per day.
